Clean the entire Production and Frying area, which includes: Sweeping, mopping and scrubbing floors. Wiping wall and washing hoods and vents Ceilings and fans Pots and pan Clean the sink and sink area Cleaning baking equipment, mixers, racks, benches • Putting shipments and deliveries away and rotating stock • Clean ovens, stoves, benches, appliances and baking utensils • Laundry • Assist in cleaning Production freezer, refrigerator and storage areas • Perform all cleaning duties assigned Supervisor.

Responsibilities

As a Janitor of Sluys Poulsbo Bakery you are an integral part and your ability to assist the Bakers in Production and the Retail Clerks with keeping their work areas clean and sanitized is crucial. You will work quickly and efficiently with minimal supervision staying on task. You will maintain cleanliness of all bakery equipment, benches, and floors. You will maintain organization and cleanliness of store rooms. You are available to work a flexible schedule of 30 hours a week which includes weekends and holidays, except New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas when we are closed. Qualifications

Must be able to lift 50 - 75 lbs intermittently, 60 lbs on a continuing basis • Must be able to work efficiently and effectively on an independent basis, without constant supervisory direction, during entire shift. • Must be able to work in a close environment, i.e. walk-in freezer/refrigerator with door closed • Able to read and follow instructions • Must be able to work flexible and/or long hours, as needed. This includes early mornings and on Sundays and Holidays. Possess a current Food Handler's Certificate, issued by the Kitsap County Department of Health. • Possess basic math and reading skills
